Due to the pandemic, the DMC 2020 conference will only be presented virtually this year:

Contact the TM Conference Registrar’s office at 815-299-7158 or ta.wessels@gmail.com to ensure you are registered.

You can also use the floating help icon on the bottom left of your screen to start a live chat with our support team.

Our event begins at 8:15 am PT with live chats with our sponsors. Click here to check out the Resource Center.

The conference will be live-streamed beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. Here’s the Agenda

Participants from the Diocese of Orange will be able to attend the conference free
Participants from outside the Diocese of Orange are welcome to join us, the full-day conference costs $25.00. This includes access to the virtual conference as well as off-line learning, live event chats, a full attendee forum, and more.

All conference registrants will have access to the conference video and materials for 30 days after the conference right on this site. Keep your login handy as you’ll need it to get back in.

Definition of Gamification: the process of adding games or game-like elements to a task so as to encourage participation.
The word refers to the incorporation of game elements, like point and reward systems, to tasks as incentives for people to participate. In other words, gamification is about making something potentially tedious into a game. Gamification is effective because it taps into people’s natural desires for competition and achievement. Teachers, managers, and others use gamification to increase participation and improve productivity.

The 2020 Diocesan Ministries Celebration has added gamification to the DMC2020 Virtual Conference Dashboard. You can earn points for engaging with the platform in a variety of ways from registering, attending a live session, or by visiting a site in our Resource Center. In addition, you can keep tabs on your point total with the leaderboard located on the Dashboard. At the end of the event, the DMC 2020 planning committee will be announcing their giveaways and prizes for top scorers.  We learn best when we are active and engaged and so we’ve made our site as interactive as we can! There are points hidden all over the site, just waiting for you to unlock them.

First, you would need to register to set up your username and password. You must also have a unique email address to complete the registration.

Once you are logged in, you will find a link to the Dashboard on the menu of every page. This is your home base for everything about the event.

In addition to the live presentation sessions, you will also find a member chat in the bottom right corner of most pages for you to keep the community going.

There are a few ways in which you can interact with each other over the course of the event.

  • If you are in an active session, there is a built-in chat function that we invite everyone to use to keep the discussions going and spark new ideas.
  • Outside of these sessions, you will find “User List” and “Chat” tabs. These will be familiar to anyone who uses something like Facebook as you get a full user listing. If you click on a name in the list, it will open up a private chat just with them. You can attach files, upload photos, or use emojis ’til your heart’s content. If you want to address the group at large, use the other tab labeled “Chat” which is a large group with everyone in it. Click on the + or – on the top of each tab to maximize or minimize the tabs respectively.
  • Lastly, if you have a question about the event in general, have an issue with the site, or would otherwise like to get ahold of our support team, use the floating green icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen. We will have a support team member with you as soon as we can to help you out or answer your question.

If you are registering as a watch group, where multiple people will gather around a single computer, then you just register as usual. During your registration, there will be a chance to let us know how many you have watching.

If you are registering for a group and each person will have their own computer, then it’s a little more involved. Due to the login requirements of the site, each person will need their own, unique, email. Please have each person register on their own, so that they can fill out their profile and select their sessions.

If a group leader is paying for the group together, then have the group “pay by check” and list the leader and contact information in their registration.
*Please note that free registrations can skip this step.*

The group leader can mail checks for payment to:
